Q: How do you stay fit and healthy? A: Training hard and playing rugby
Q: As a young player, what should you concentrate on most tackling or passing?
A: Core skills such as these are both are very important, just keep practicing.
Q: Which position is the most important on the field? A: All of them, but I would say centre!!
Q: Who is the best player you have ever played with or against?
A: Dan Carter
Q: If you could play any other positions, what would it be?
A: Full-back
Q: How do prepare for a big game?
A: I don’t do anything interesting, just the same as every game really, I just tend to focus on my own game and think about staying calm. I do pitch based warm-ups to concentrate on my job and just try and keep as calm as I can and my emotions in check before joining in with the team-based warm-up.
Q: What is your greatest rugby achievement?
A: Representing England at Twickenham, it was amazing.
Q: If you hadn’t become a professional rugby player. What would you have been? A: Maybe a golfer

A: Playing for England
Q: What are your unfulfilled ambitions?
A: To further represent England.
Q: You’ve been at Gloucester Rugby for 2 years now. How do you rate the current squad? A: An exciting group of people, it’s great to have a good mix of youth and experience within our squad and I think we are building something really special at the club. It is fantastic to be a part of it.
Q: What do you like the most about being a rugby player? And what do you dislike?
A: It is very hard work but I love the feeling of winning – there is nothing to beat it.
